IndiGo to Wet-Lease Airbus A320 Family Aircraft from Freebird Airlines

India-based carrier IndiGo has signed a wet-lease agreement with Turkey-based Freebird Airlines to meet increasing passenger demand and address capacity requirements.

Under the agreement, which is set to commence in late December, Airbus A320 family aircraft belonging to Freebird Airlines will begin operating across IndiGo’s flight network. The aircraft are planned to be based in Bengaluru, India.

The aircraft leased from Freebird Airlines will operate on the following routes from the Bengaluru hub:

Kolkata
Ahmedabad
Surat
